Ethylene propylene rubber (EPDM) is composed of ethylene and propylene, and the main chain does not contain double bonds. Therefore, EPDM has excellent heat resistance, ozone resistance, weather resistance, low temperature resistance, good insulation and resilience. In addition, it also has good chemical resistance. For example, in many diluted acid, alkali and polar solvents such as alcohol, ketone, ethylene glycol and phosphate ester hydraulic oil and refrigerant R134a + PAG system, the EPDM has excellent heat resistance, ozone resistance and weather resistance Chlorine water and chloramine are effective, but they are not suitable for mineral oil, grease, aromatic and olefin solvents. The disadvantage of ethylene propylene rubber is that the curing speed is slow, it can not co vulcanize with diene rubber, the self viscosity and mutual viscosity are poor, and the air tightness is poor
