Description of characteristics
Fluoroelastomer is a copolymer of vinyl fluoride and hexafluoropropylene. According to the different molecular structure and fluorine content, the chemical resistance and low temperature resistance of fluoroelastomer are also different. Fluoroelastomer is famous for its excellent flame retardancy, excellent air tightness, high temperature resistance, ozone resistance, climate resistance, oxidation resistance, mineral oil resistance, fuel oil resistance, hydraulic oil resistance, aromatic resistance and many organic solvents and chemicals.
Service temperature
For general brands, the service temperature under static seal is better limited to about - 26 ℃ (- 15 ℃) to 232 ℃ (450 ℃). Although it can be used at 275 ℃ for a short time, its service life will be shortened when the temperature exceeds 232 ℃. The most suitable temperature for dynamic seal is - 15 ℃ to 200 ℃. The low temperature can reach - 40 ℃.

Between 50 and 90 degrees (Shore A).

Currently available in black, brown, green, white, brown red, yellow and blue, also can be specified by customers.
application
Fluoroelastomers are usually used in automobile industry, chemical process industry, aerospace industry and many mission industries due to their excellent flame retardancy, air tightness, high temperature resistance, oil resistance, solvent resistance, flame resistance, chemical resistance and weather resistance. The fluorine elastomer seal is the only one that can be used under high vacuum conditions. Other rubber can not be used for sealing under 1.33 * 10 - 7 PA.
